The God Boy and the Soldier; AU where Charles never made it to the college, and somehow fell into the hands of bad people who had interests in his power, Erik was still with Shaw and trained into an killing machine. One day he ran into another boy in the research center, who was locked up and being experimented on like a lab rat.
Try, Try Again; This has happened before, he thinks with a start, and something in his throat closes up as he revolves on the spot, already knowing what he’s going to see. Charles’ back is arching as he falls, his eyes wide, and the crumpled bullet falls to the sand beside him like a calling card.
Valhalla In The Sky; During his hunt for Schmidt, Erik’s search takes him to Oxford, where he meets and attempts to seduce Charles Xavier. It doesn’t go according to plan. (5,289)
Took Me By Surprise and Then; Avengers fusion. After the second surgery in New York, Charles doesn’t anticipate anyone keeping vigil by his bedside — and certainly not Tony Stark.
Humane Society; Basically, mutant supremacist Erik gets transfigured into a kitten, human Charles takes him in, and Erik really can’t help falling in love.
interdisciplinary studies; When Charles Xavier signed up to be a TA at the beginning of his graduate studies, he’d expected to be assigned to help his favourite professor from undergrad, Moira MacTaggart, with Biology 101. Instead he finds he’s been requested by Professor Lehnsherr, a man he’s never met and who teaches mechanical engineering - a subject Charles has never studied.
Why Do We Always Meet Like This?; Charles has always found social gatherings a little bit exhausting and so always retreated to a small secluded spot away from it all and about a year ago he started running into Erik Lehnsherr doing the same thing.
Only Sleeping; Five times Charles was sleepy and rumpled and Erik did not find it adorable at all.
Shiver; At first, Charles had tried to keep count of their kisses.
What Not To Expect When You’re Not Expecting It; “I wasn’t hiding it from you. Honestly, I didn’t know for certain until yesterday, which I think we can agree was bad timing and not the sort of thing one springs before the heat of battle,” Charles says earnestly.
Trying is Half the Battle; Post-Cuba, no divorce, Charles and Erik are in an established relationship and when Charles gets sick with a random flu bug, they discover that Charles can get pregnant. They then try to get pregnant, and try, and try.
Show Him; Charles has lead a loveless life and Erik is here to change that.
Sitz!; Erik gets turned into a doberman.
Protégé; The first time it happens is out of bare necessity, nothing more. He’s been back at the mansion for weeks and Charles still hasn’t come close to getting used to his legs. Or should he say the lack thereof. He’s been working with his own mind, trying to train himself the way he’d trained the children, make it so that he can live his life on his own terms again but it’s a slow process. An uphill battle with lead weights strapped to the limbs that work, dead, empty air engulfing the ones that don’t.
Rift; Michael Fassbender somehow ends up in the XMFC universe. But he doesn’t realize it at first. He thinks he just mysteriously woke up on set one day and everyone is being really serious about staying in character. Until he discovers that he really can move metal. Meanwhile, Erik is wondering where the hell he is and why everyone seems to think he’s an actor.
From Westminster With Love; NATO intelligence says there’s an omega-class telepath who sleeps under Westminster. Major Erik Lehnsherr is about to find out the truth for himself.
But The Cat Came Back; “Oh, look! It’s Charles, and he’s been transformed into a cat by a malevolent government program! I wonder how I can change him back and thereby secure his love forever and ever, amen?”
You Know My Name; Erik and Charles are spies with something in common.
Conspiracy of Kisses; Seven-year-old Erik needs to keep his telepathic best friend Charles from finding out that he wants to kiss him. But that’s okay, because he has a plan - he’ll put on a tinfoil hat.
Limited Release; White Collar AU. When Alex Summers broke out of supermax to rescue his stupid kid brother, he had no idea it was going to be so fucking complicated.
Acceptance; Charles was an unremarkable professor teaching at the University of Genosha. He wished only for a peaceful life when one night, he caught the eye of Lord Erik ‘Magnus’ Lensherr, the ruler of Genosha and champion of mutants all over the world. Naturally, everything stopped making sense from there.
Linger; Erik had been warned, to be fair. The realtor was very explicit that the last seventeen tenants had run from the premises screaming about the Exorcist or The Ring or some other terrible horror show.
The Bawd and The John; Charles runs a brothel. The students work there. Erik is one of their best clients, but what Charles doesn’t know is that he never sleeps with anyone - he’s just there on the off-chance he might get to talk to Charles (who doesn’t do it for money anymore), because in Erik’s fucked up little brain, that makes total sense.
First Impressions; Pride and Prejudice AU. It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a spouse — or the nearest set of curtains to hide behind, if you were to believe Mr Charles Xavier. Little does he know that he himself will soon put test to that very truth.
When two people become one (is it real now?); Erik decides to purchase a mail-order bride to help around the house. He’s expecting a pretty little blonde woman or something, but what he gets is Charles Xavier.
Doing Something for Yourself; Erik is a hard working engineer and single dad, Charles runs a local Community Center where Wanda and Pietro spend their time after school. Erik accidentally makes Charles’ acquaintance one Wednesday evening when he’s running late from work. Erik has no idea if he stands a chance with his new acquaintance, but that isn’t going to keep him from falling for the guy.
Not So Much the Teacup; “Charles is basically the bride whisperer. It’s like he can read their minds.” Wedding planner AU.
645 Riverside Drive; Azazel clearly has yet to understand the shattering power of Charles’ disappointment, so Erik takes one for the team, grabbing the cup and downing the remnants of the cappuccino like a shot while Azazel watches with morbid fascination.
You Won’t Need a Hero; Charles is just a regular, boring guy with regular, boring problems—like having a very unfortunate crush on his boss. As it turns out, his boss isn’t quite who he appears to be.
there’s a place here for you with me; The rhythm he’s set is suddenly interrupted by an unnatural tug at his shoe. Looking down, Erik’s shocked to see a small tan corgi trying to bite him, and then he sees that the one at his shoe is followed closely by three other corgis, all yapping at him.
Resting in Peace Was Never an Option; In which Erik is perpetually annoyed and Charles refuses to acknowledge that there is actually a ghost coming out of the tv set.
Coffee Date; The Avengers have once again saved the world from an alien invasion. Go figure, right? But even superheroes need a coffee break every now and then, and Tony Stark knows just how to organize one. Naturally, Erik is the only one not amused.
Be So Good; In which Charles has a pre-existing injury that flares up during sex with Erik. Being Erik and Charles, this leads to issues (and a fair dose of hurt/comfort, too).
Dance With Me; After his most recent tour, Erik Lehnsherr has finally earned the rank of Captain and a commission on a vessel all his own. With the prize money he has collected and this new rank, he finally feels secure enough in his future to propose to the man he has loved for years. He just prays that Charles is willing to have him.
Between the lines; Erik finds a kid waiting on the street, and just wants to help him out.
(*) Watching the Stars Slide Down; Seventeen-year-old Charles Xavier is ridiculously wealthy, and is used to being paraded around for show at his mother’s high-society Christmas parties. He’s always been rather sporting about it, and dutifully rubs shoulders with the elite every year in the glitz of the mansion ballroom. This year, he meets a man by the name of Erik Lehnsherr.
(*) Your soul is a chosen country; He sends letters, of course, because out in the sticks there’s not much to do except tend to Westchester’s endless affairs. And, of course, avoid tending to those affairs by going on walks, riding, and writing letters that make him hard and thrill secretly when he hands the properly-sealed, addressed envelope to the butler.
(*) Not Only You and Me; Erik sandwich with a Charles filling aka this be DP
(*) Resistance is Futile; Erik wars with his growing attraction for Charles while road-tripping across the country with the oblivious telepath.
(*) At Any Time; Strangers on a train. Things go as you might expect. Or Charles makes a bold proposition, and Erik should really know better.
(*) Something Primal; Charles struggled to get out of his seat, hurrying to stand when the reality of the situation hit him. Erik Lehnsherr was his Alpha. Erik Lehnsherr was here to claim him. Erik Lehnsherr was going to do it in the middle of the classroom full of his peers.
(*) Have a seat and we’ll see what comes up; Royalty AU. Erik is a powerful king who holds court every day. His consort, likewise perfectly presentable, sits on his lap. Except Erik’s buried to the hilt.
(*) I’m Sure It Would Be Magical; Brandon at one point suggests that if he could live anywhere and be anything, he’d be a musician in the 1960s.
(*) Towne Hardware & Supply; Charles takes Erik out on an errand to a hardware store. It’s hard to be around shelf after shelf of metal tools and bits and bobs when you’re all too aware that a couple buckets of ten-penny nails and a couple of sledgehammers, and you could probably rule the world.
(!) (*) Drag Me On Down, Gladly I’ll Follow; Charles enjoys a night on the town and wakes in the bed of the stranger he met last night. He insists that nothing happened between them, but that doesn’t stay true for long. Erik fails miserably at not being jealous and when he finds out who the ‘stranger’ was, things come to a head.
(!) Like Roses and Wine; Charles is not what you would call a “sports person” - but a promise of free kisses after the game, especially with one Erik Lensherr playing midfield, is a temptation Charles can’t resist.
(!) Playing With Fire; Charles is a detective determined to catch a serial killer. If the serial killer doesn’t catch him first.
(!) Civilised Nature; Genosha fights for its independence. Sebastian Shaw rules the burgeoning nation in all but name. Erik is an alpha politician second and a servant of the people first. And then he sees Charles, omega to the ruthless Shaw, and all his priorities change.
(!) Mutant-to-Mutant Contact; During their search for a powerful psychic mutant, Erik finds himself trapped in cabin in the middle of snowy nowhere, trying to keep the cold from killing Charles.
Our House, In The Middle Of Our Street; Charles is a social worker who fosters troubled kids, and one day he meets Erik, an ex-druggie/ex-convict who reluctantly agrees to stay for only a while, but ends up staying for good and helping Charles to raise the kids. Awkward parenting ensues.
The Proper Care of Actors; Erik is an A-list action star who is notoriously difficult to work with, until the day he gets cast alongside Charles Xavier, rom-com darling who can charm the pants off movie audiences the world over and apparently even one Erik Lehnsherr. The paparazzi catch them out and about soon enough, and their real-life Hollywood movie romance becomes instant tabloid fodder.
Age Difference AU; Raven is six years older than Charles; Charles has never really considered this age difference vitally important in one way or another, except to decide that even if Raven were six years younger than Charles, she would probably boss him around in the exact same way. He doesn’t really think much of the difference between fifteen and twenty-one, until Raven comes home from college for a study weekend with her new best friend in tow, introduces him cheerfully as Erik Lehnsherr, and Charles finds himself falling head-over-heels into a train wreck of doomed lust.
come as you are; The one where Charles unknowingly woos a coma patient with Pride and Prejudice. Years later, they meet again.
My Barbaric Darling; Erik is revivified caveman. Charles is the anthropologist(?) taking care of him. This is as ridiculous as it sounds. Romcom misunderstandings and prehistoric wooing ensues.
Something Elemental; Of all the things Charles had thought Erik might find arousing, the way he smelled wasn’t one of them. It’s…often inconvenient (and always groovy). Or: Five times Charles smells amazing, and one time he doesn’t (but Erik thinks he does anyway).
Untitled; kid!fic. Erik is the bully that terrorizes kids that are littler than him and Charles is always the one to step in and save them. Erik likes Charles and he does what he does to catch his attention.
(*) Ignore Me If You See Me ‘Cause I Just Don’t Give A Shit; They are little terrors, really. Charles is brilliant but quite obviously pays no attention in class, opting instead to doodle on his papers and text his boyfriend. Erik is sullen and dangerous, and all the teachers are half convinced he’ll kill them all someday, but there’s never any proof, and even if there was, they’d be too scared to show it. They are obnoxiously all over each other, as well, sneaking out to Charles’ car to hook up, or the bathrooms, or the corners and cupboards. Just something in a world where they are terrible people with little to no consequences.
(*) Good Boys; Charles needs help from Erik coming to terms with the fact that he’s attracted to men. Charles is gay, but he has repressed that as only Charles Francis Xavier can. Which means he’s, er, half a virgin. Erik Lehnsherr is about to change this.
(!) (*) Condonare; Hannibal takes an interest in a telepath in a bar. An attempt to seek shelter with him afterwards with fellow Nazi hunter Erik Lehnsherr quickly, quietly becomes fucked up.
(!) Jail Bait; Charles is the new psychologist at a high profile correctional facility for rogue mutants, and Erik is the notorious criminal who takes a liking to him.
(!) Dead Man’s Paradise; Nazi hunter Erik Lehnsherr is apprehended and sentenced to prison for the sheer trail of brutality and blood he left in his wake. But before he can be sent to prison, he’s purchased by Deadman Wonderland, the world’s only privately owned prison come amusement park, where the prisoners are the entertainment.
(!) Into the Fray; Hunger Games AU. Every year, two alphas are chosen from each district for a fight to death, and every year, a single omega is chosen to join them in the arena as the prize. Erik Lehnsherr’s name has been drawn to compete as an alpha tribute and he is set solely on survival, but he hadn’t exactly counted on Charles, the mysterious omega tribute that isn’t playing by any of the rules.
As & When Series
Westchester High School; Charles is a science nerd. He has no shot with a glamorous bad-boy like Erik Lehnsherr, even if they are both mutants.
Backseat ‘verse; A modern-day, D/s culture where almost everybody is either a Dominant or a submissive.
This Family comes with Batteries; A recently orphaned Charles Xavier goes to live with his Godfather, Mister Anthony Stark. This story is a tale of what would have happened to the events of Iron Man and onwards, if Tony was raising a six year old telepath in Stark Tower.
Reconciliation; Thor ships Cherik (RPF) and it’s becoming a bit of a problem. In fact, it’s becoming so much of a problem that the team has taken it upon themselves to do the impossible: reconciling Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr.
(!) Vital Signs; “Charles,” his mouth whispered and his voice cracked, “My name is Charles. Help me. I don’t want to die.”
